چکیده

Abstract The perovskite polycrystalline thin film detector fabricated by solution method is a promising low‐cost, scalable technology for radiation imaging, but its volume limits the sensing efficiency high‐energy X‐ray photons. This work reports 2D photo‐diodes with detection gain when visible and Detailed power temperature‐dependent device characterizations reveal charge multiplication effect to be responsible observed high gain. caused disparity in electron hole transport, where transport retarded trap/de‐trap process via shallow trap states, whereas fast enough produce photoconductive satisfying neutrality. made butylamine spacers also found exhibit larger than those phenylethylamines because of higher likelihood forming traps former. diodes feature temporal response over 1 MHz due collection across volume, discovery provides physics mechanisms connection material structure‐function relationship future optoelectronics design that can boost dim light detection.

Practical expressions describing detective quantum efficiency in flat-panel detectors

In radiology, image quality excellence is a balance between system performance and patient dose, hence x-ray systems must be designed to ensure the maximum image quality is obtained for the lowest consistent dose. The concept of detective quantum efficiency (DQE) is widely used to quantify, understand, measure, and predict the performance of x-ray detectors and imaging systems. Cascaded linear-...

Studies of Photo-emission and Field Emission in an Rf Photo-injector with a High Quantum Efficiency Photo-cathode

An 18 MeV electron photo-injector facility was constructed at Fermilab in collaboration with UCLA, INFNMilano, University of Rochester, and DESY. The photoinjector is now being operated in partnership with the Northern Illinois Center for Accelerator and Detector Development. The facility consists of an RF gun [1, 2] with a cesium telluride (Cs2Te) photo-cathode [3] excited by a pulsed ultra-vi...
